Responsibilities

The Market Vice President Operations will lead a market with accountability for strategy, growth, direct P&L responsibility and overall goal execution that drives for business results. This role will lead SCA Health's GRIT region, which spans five states: Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

This is a remote role. Residency within the GRIT region is preferred but not required.

Key Roles:

Clinical Quality and Patient Safety: Champion SCA Health's HRO Journey with responsibility to ensure leaders, teams, and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards.

Operational Excellence: Lead market operations with a focus on standardization, efficiency, and performance improvement across all facilities.

Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of leaders including regional vice presidents of operations, modeling and promoting SCA Health's Values.

Relationship Management: Source and develop key relationships and growth opportunities with prospective customers including physicians, physician groups, health systems, health plans and Care Delivery Organizations. Manage C-suite level relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs and controls activities through multiple levels including regional vice president level leaders who have overall operational responsibility for their assigned functions, geographic regions, and businesses.

Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and approving changes to methods and practices.

Work cross-functionally with all support services lanes including clinical, finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, D&I, Legal, Compliance, HR and all functions to gain alignment and collaborate on mutual goals.

Makes strategic decisions based on market goals which are aligned with company goals and objectives.
