Facilities Project Engineer Intern - 1001

We are seeking a Facilities Project Engineer Intern in our Broomfield, CO, location.

All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement project management solutions to meet the evolving needs of our facilities improvement and footprint projects

Create and implement change order process from internal stakeholders. Assist in change orders from both internal teams and selected contractors for leadership approval.

Work alongside current Project Managers, Site Operations Managers, Facilities Technicians and engineers with planning and execution of facility improvement and infrastructure projects.

Participate in project meetings and document action items, schedules, and key decisions.

Assist with contractor coordination, site walks, and construction observation activities.

Develop project dashboards, metrics, and presentations for leadership review.

Support facility planning efforts, including space utilization, infrastructure upgrades, and capital project development.

Complete a capstone project and present recommendations and results to site and facilities leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree

Must be able to participate in an internship prior to completing current degree program

Graduating on/after 2027

Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status

WE VALUE:

Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related STEM field.

Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.

Strong interest in facilities, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project management.

Familiarity with Project Management principles and frameworks

Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Power BI, or related platforms.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to investigate issues and develop practical solutions.

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay range for this role is $23 - $27 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
