Job Title: Production Associate Job Description
Join our team as a Production Associate where you will assemble interior and exterior door units using pre-cut materials, hand tools, power tools, nail guns, and assembly equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, assembly, carpentry, construction, cabinetry, woodworking, or hand tools, seeking long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Assemble interior and exterior door units according to work orders and specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, nail guns, staple guns, and assembly equipment.
Read and interpret work orders and production documents.
Accurately measure materials using tape measures and basic math skills.
Inspect products for quality and make adjustments as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Meet daily production goals and performance expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with Machine Operators and production leadership to support workflow.
Essential Skills
Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, carpentry, warehouse, or production.
Proficient use of hand and power tools.
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
Capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working in a physically active manufacturing environment.
Strong attendance history and reliability.
Reliable transportation for a 6:00 AM start time.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly.
Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, framing, carpentry, or construction.
Experience with door, window, or building product manufacturing.
Experience working from work orders, specifications, or blueprints.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S methodologies.
Bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing and assembly environment producing interior and exterior door units. The team comprises approximately 135 employees, fostering a team-oriented culture with a mix of English and Spanish-speaking employees. Engage in hands-on work using hand tools, power tools, nail guns, staple guns, and assembly equipment. Leadership promotes internal growth and advancement opportunities. Participate in daily stretch meetings, weekly safety talks, and monthly safety meetings. Benefit from a monthly on-site physical therapist for injury prevention and employee wellness. Dress code is casual industrial, with steel-toe boots required. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, starting at 6:00 AM, typically concluding by 4:30 PM with no regular weekend work. New hires receive approximately two weeks of hands-on training and mentoring before transitioning to independent work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
