As a Security Officer Reception Security Desk in Newark, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a hotel location, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence for guests, visitors, and team members. You will monitor access, assist with security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and help maintain a positive guest experience. Pay Rate: $16.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

Maintain a professional front desk presence, greet and direct guests and visitors, and assist with access control in accordance with location procedures.

Monitor lobby activity, entry points, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or concerns to appropriate hotel personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

Document incidents, visitor activity, and shift-related information accurately and communicate relevant details to incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
