Description

Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at an active construction site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and can confidently wear multiple hats to help keep the office running smoothly. This is a contract position Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm, pay range $20-$25/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter employee payroll and timecard information into company databases

Maintain and organize project documentation, records, and files

Assist with document retention and compliance requirements

Process purchase orders (POs), invoices, and other administrative paperwork

Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars for project personnel

Provide general office support to the Project Manager and site team

Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks

Handle filing, data entry, correspondence, and project tracking

Support overall office operations and special projects as needed

Requirements

Previous administrative experience required

Construction, project-based, or industrial environment experience strongly preferred

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable working in an active construction site setting

Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Experience with Viewpoint, Trimble, or similar construction software is a plus

Ability to work independently and take initiative
