Legal Operations Manager - Paralegal

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Operations Manager - Paralegal to support process design and operational consistency across legal and compliance functions in Coppell, Texas. This Long-term Contract position will partner with teams across the business to clarify how work moves between departments, improve coordination, and strengthen process accountability. The role is well suited for someone who can translate complex workflows into clear documentation while identifying practical ways to improve efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and document how legal, compliance, and business teams interact across recurring operational workflows such as sales, transfers, renewals, defaults, terminations, and accounts receivable.

Lead discussions with stakeholders to define ownership, clarify decision-making points, and establish clear handoffs between departments.

Evaluate existing workflows to uncover delays, duplication of effort, control gaps, and other barriers to efficient execution.

Create process maps, written procedures, and standardized operating documentation that can be used consistently across teams.

Partner with cross-functional leaders to align responsibilities and improve visibility into dependencies that affect legal and compliance operations.

Recommend and support process enhancements that reduce bottlenecks and strengthen service delivery across the organization.

Maintain process documentation and update materials as workflows, controls, or operational needs evolve.

Contribute to operational initiatives involving legal management systems or related tools when process changes need to be captured and implemented. Requirements - Experience managing or improving cross-functional processes within legal operations, compliance, paralegal, or related business environments.

Strong capability in process mapping, workflow analysis, and documenting procedures in a clear and structured manner.

Knowledge of legal compliance considerations and the ability to apply them within operational process design.

Demonstrated success identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvements to streamline work.

Familiarity with corporate legal management systems and their impact on team processes and documentation.

Excellent facilitation and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across multiple departments.

Highly organized approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex dependencies.
