We are looking for an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for the Paralegal who can keep complex matters organized, move assignments forward efficiently, and provide reliable support throughout the life of a case. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys on business and commercial litigation matters while maintaining high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and quality.

Responsibilities:

Partner with attorneys on litigation matters from initial case review through trial readiness, helping move each matter forward at every stage.

Prepare, revise, and finalize a range of legal materials, including court filings, discovery documents, subpoenas, and correspondence.

Maintain well-organized case records in both digital and hard-copy formats to ensure materials are accessible, current, and complete.

Oversee document collection and production workflows, using e-discovery tools and databases to manage large volumes of case information.

Perform factual and legal research assignments under attorney direction to support strategy development and case preparation.

Create deposition summaries, case timelines, and hearing or trial binders that help attorneys prepare for key proceedings.

Submit filings in state and federal courts through electronic filing systems while ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.

Monitor court dates, response deadlines, and other critical milestones to help keep litigation calendars on track.

Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, and outside counsel, and provide on-site support during depositions, hearings, and trials when needed.

Requirements

At least 5 years of paralegal experience supporting business, commercial, or defense litigation within a law firm setting.

Strongly preferred credentials include a bachelor's degree, a paralegal certificate, an associate degree in paralegal studies, or a recognized legal assistant certification.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex case files and handle high-volume document review with accuracy and discretion.

Working knowledge of trial preparation processes and familiarity with courtroom procedures.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation support or case management software used in active legal matters.

Solid understanding of court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, protect confidential information, and contribute as a collaborative team member.
