Construction Project Manager - Monterey, CA

Founded in 1996, RQC, LLC has grown into a respected name in the Design-Build construction sector, providing complex commercial and federal construction services across the country. Based in Carlsbad, California, RQ delivers integrated design and construction solutions through dedicated project teams supporting jobsites nationwide.

The company specializes in large-scale, fast-track ground-up construction projects for both government and private-sector clients, with extensive experience supporting Department of Defense programs and facilities.

RQ is currently seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager to join our West Coast Field Operations group supporting military construction projects in Monterey, California. This position oversees all phases of construction-from planning and preconstruction through project closeout-while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company Mission, Vision, and Values.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $130,000-$160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience may be considered

Minimum 2 years of experience managing commercial construction projects

At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience within the construction industry, including roles such as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar positions

Prior experience with Design-Build projects preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

Experience with construction software such as Primavera P3/P6, BIM platforms, Revit, and Viewpoint is advantageous

CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required or ability to obtain shortly after hire; STS certification is beneficial

LEED Green Associate or LEED AP credentials are a plus
