What You'll Do
As a Power Distribution Engineer, you'll work alongside engineers, designers, project teams, and utility partners to support the planning and design of electrical distribution systems.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assist with the design of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Support engineering calculations, including load analysis, voltage drop studies, and equipment selection.
Create and update engineering drawings, technical documents, and project reports.
Use industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and other engineering tools to support project development.
Participate in field visits to gather data, verify existing conditions, and gain hands-on experience with utility infrastructure.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Help ensure designs comply with applicable safety standards, codes, and engineering best practices.
Support project planning activities, schedules, and project documentation.
Apply analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to engineering challenges.
Continuously learn new technologies, industry practices, and engineering concepts.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
