What will you be doing?
As an Analyst on the End User Computing Vulnerability Management team, you'll review and prioritize vulnerabilities, drive end-user outreach and remediation for high-risk machines, analyze vulnerability scans, provide L3 support to remediate vulnerabilities on end user devices, and build the reporting that gives the organization visibility into vulnerability posture. The Analyst partners with engineering and security teams to keep endpoint environments secure and healthy and requires the ability to work independently and drive remediation efforts through to closure.
Responsibilities:
Participates in enterprise vulnerability management lifecycle from scan through triage, remediation tracking, validation and closure
Assist with the Review and prioritization of vulnerabilities based on risk, exploitability, and asset criticality
Analyze vulnerability scans (e.g., Tenable/Nessus or similar), validating findings as true or false positives and tracking vulnerability aging against remediation timelines
Own end-user outreach for high-vulnerability machines, working directly with users to drive patching to completion
Identify systems not receiving automated patching and lead remediation efforts using available tools ie. (nexthink, workspace one, NinjaOne)
Provide L3 support for vulnerability and security tool issues, coordinating remediation with Service Desk teams
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tenable data and AI tools, covering vulnerability posture, patch compliance, and finding aging; document KPI definitions and data sources for executive reporting
Reconcile vulnerability data across scanning tools, ticketing systems, and trackers to identify mismatches and coverage gaps
Monitor, track, and ensure closure of vulnerability-related incidents and remediation tasks
Collaborate with service desk, engineering and security teams to ensure secure endpoint deployment across the enterprise
Identify gaps, redundancies, or misalignments in current tooling and remediation processes, recommending improvements
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in vulnerability management, patching, and enterprise security tool deployment
Experience with RMM tools (NinjaOne, Ivanti Neurons, or similar) preferred
Experience with Tenable preferred
Experience with Microsoft Intune preferred
Windows and macOS patching experience preferred
Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and analysis of CVE/CVSS/KEV findings
Strong experience with Intune, Workspace ONE or similar deployment/administration platforms
Experience building dashboards and reports using Tenable and AI tools, plus strong Excel skills for vulnerability reporting and KPI tracking
Experience providing L3 support and coordinating remediation with other teams
Experience maintaining SOPs and governance documentation
Solid understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Comfortable communicating directly with end users to drive patching and remediation
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in enterprise environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent
Experience with POA&M/risk acceptance documentation or regulated/compliance-driven environments
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $71,200 to $89,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
