Our client, a leader in advanced engineering solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be integral to the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, collaboration, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Broomfield, Colorado

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies from concept through production release, including proto@type and production hardware.

Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using industry-standard CAD tools, applying GD&T and best drafting practices.

Release and manage product data, drawings, and change orders in the PLM system in accordance with configuration management processes.

Perform basic to intermediate mechanical analyses (e.g., structural, thermal, tolerance, and trade studies) to support design decisions.

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, reliable, and scalable.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline

Minimum 4+ years of mechanical design experience, including CAD based modeling, electro-mechanical design and packaging, and stress and thermal analysis

Working knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical assemblies

Familiarity with GD&T and engineering documentation standards

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced development environments
