Job Summary:

The Director strategically directs the eight Beaver Creek & Vail Private Clubs, which includes Beaver Creek & Red Sky Golf courses. The Clubs include the Passport Club, Game Creek Club, Vail Mountain Club, Arrabelle Club, Beaver Creek Club, Bachelor Gulch Club, Arrowhead Alpine Club and Red Sky Golf Club. This role is responsible for developing and implementing capital projects as they relate to the above operations and managing the complex financial structure. This role is also expected to represent Vail Resorts on community and club boards as well as resorts Senior Leadership Team.

Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $124,084 - $161,309 + Annual bonus + Equity

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a professional and high performing team which is held accountable to delivering high quality service and strong financial results.

Strategically plan and execute successful business plans for private clubs, as well as the Beaver Creek and Red Sky Golf Courses.

Knowledge of Club documents, Membership Plans and Club Rules and Regulations.

Execute daily business per compliance guidelines, have a good understanding of Club Accounting and procedures.

Fully comply with Vail Resorts corporate code of ethics and policies and the administration of club records, board meetings, membership applications and documents.

Oversight of club communications to club members and boards.

Development of board meeting packets, chairing of meetings, board meeting follow-up, and proper documentation.

Development and implementation of strategic and maintenance capital projects.

Cooperation and effective communication with inter-company departments which support the club & golf operations.

Demonstrate flexible, responsive, and consistency in addressing member needs and desires within the financial limits and pursuant to Vail Resorts' corporate guidelines and policies.

Develop creative and quality programming for club & golf operations

Provide oversight for the Clubs Development (Sales & Marketing) Department.

Job Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor's degree

5 years of experience in clubs or hospitality & golf industry

5 years of experience managing multiple units

ServSafe Certification, TIPS Certification

Efficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel

Fluent in English

Club operational experience is beneficial, as well as knowledge of environmental health codes & liquor codes

Preferred:

Strong organization, administrative & communication skills

Ability to lead a large multi-faceted organization

Club Managers Association of America Member (CMAA)

The expected pay range is $124,084 - $161,309 + Annual bonus + Equity. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
