As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Day Time

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.

Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining professional communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card/license is preferred.

This is primarily a driving post.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
