Summary of the Job:
Tributary Capital Management has an opening for an Investments Intern, starting May 2027. This position will offer a student the opportunity to acquire practical work experience in an environment geared toward bottom-up, fundamental equity research. Interns will work with Tributary's Equity Income / Large Cap Core strategy teams and obtain exposure to multiple methods of company valuation, learn various sources of information available to investors, have numerous opportunities to expand their business communication skills, and gain familiarity with research tools including FactSet.
About This Role:
Tributary Capital Management is a SEC Registered Investment Adviser headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. We provide asset management services to institutions, individuals, and investment companies and manage over $4.5 billion in multiple value equity strategies. We believe in active portfolio management, with an emphasis on vigorous, bottom-up fundamental research and security valuation. Key Intern Responsibilities
Perform preliminary equity research for portfolio managers and analysts.
Prepare company summaries for existing/prospective investments.
Participate in weekly investment meetings; assist with monitoring and reporting company news.
Assist portfolio managers and analysts in preparing in-depth research reports, including company valuation and recommendation.
Additional projects as requested by portfolio managers and analysts.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Junior/Senior/Graduate Student.
Business Majors (Finance/Accounting/Economics) who have taken coursework in investments.
Location, Duration, and Hours
This position will work on-site at Tributary Capital Management's office, located in the First National Bank building at One Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO
This internship runs from May 2027 through TBD
Summer: Up to 40 hours/week
School Year: Up to 20 hours/week (if extended)
Weekly schedule during school year is flexible to accommodate class schedule
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
