As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Ashburn, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established reporting procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, parking areas, athletic facilities, grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school district policies, directing visitors and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately, and communicate relevant information with school administrators, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
