As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Puyallup, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $29.73 / Hour

Day Time

Mon01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Tue01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Thur09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Fri09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
