As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

Day Time

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site policies and security-related procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.

Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
