As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Route Driver in Burgaw, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government correctional location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Day Time

Mon05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

Wed05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.

Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts, allied personnel, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

An Armed Guard Card/License is required.

At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
