As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Burgaw, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a controlled environment. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license. You will provide professional communication and customer service while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Mon05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

Sun05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of movement throughout assigned areas.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.

Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
