As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Technology in Midland, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift communications, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
