Mechatronics & Robotics Technician
Job Description
Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors, sorters, and related systems.
Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance routines on material handling equipment, robotics, and pneumatic systems, following established documentation and procedures.
Complete and maintain accurate preventative maintenance (PM) documentation, including PM sheets and service records.
Perform battery changes and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment batteries to support continuous operations.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures on industrial or material handling equipment.
2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or robotics.
1+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE).
2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
2+ years of experience demonstrating and adhering to safety standards in an industrial or maintenance environment.
1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and maintenance records.
Hands-on experience with conveyor maintenance, material handling equipment, sorters, and robotics.
Practical knowledge of basic electrical components and electrical troubleshooting, with the ability to perform initial diagnostics before escalation.
Experience with automation and control systems in an industrial or distribution environment.
Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on complex equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to follow detailed maintenance procedures and accurately document work performed.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Completion of 1 or 2 years of technical schooling or training that includes conveyors, robotics, or related mechatronics topics.
Experience with maintenance management and preventative maintenance planning in an industrial setting.
Experience mentoring junior technicians or supporting maintenance supervision activities.
Experience working with pneumatic systems in conjunction with material handling equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66040.00 - $66040.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
