Job Title: Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist Job Description
This role focuses on the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout a temperature-controlled warehouse. The successful candidate will handle shipping and receiving activities, operate forklifts and material handling equipment, maintain accurate inventory records in an ERP system, and support production by picking, packaging, and loading outgoing orders.
Responsibilities
Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
Pick orders accurately from inventory to support production and customer shipments.
Package finished goods coming off production lines, including labeling and preparing items for shipment.
Put away incoming materials and finished goods into inventory locations using electric stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Wrap pallets securely as needed to prepare products for storage or outbound shipment.
Load finished goods onto trucks for outgoing shipments, ensuring correct quantities and documentation.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks using UPS and FedEx platforms, including UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.
Enter and update inventory data in the ERP system (Sage) to maintain accurate stock levels and transaction records.
Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory movement and confirm order accuracy.
Conduct cycle counts as needed to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Handle general warehouse duties such as material handling, organizing storage areas, and supporting production needs.
Follow all safety, cleanliness, and facility rules, including restrictions on personal items on the production floor.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping, receiving, and production support goals.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience operating forklifts, including sit-down or stand-up electric forklifts.
At least 1 year of experience working with an ERP system, ideally Sage or a similar platform.
Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency using UPS and FedEx shipping systems, including UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager.
Ability to perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Experience with general warehouse inventory practices, including material handling and stock organization.
Comfort working in a facility that handles fruit-flavored powders and being consistently exposed to a strong fruit smell and some powder in the air.
Ability to safely use forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners for daily warehouse operations.
Attention to detail when picking, packaging, and loading orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
Ability to adhere to facility rules, including no jewelry or cell phones on the production floor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working within a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with inventory control practices and warehouse documentation.
Basic computer skills for data entry and navigation within ERP and shipping systems.
Willingness to occasionally stay late, with typical additional hours of approximately 8-10 hours per week as needed to meet operational demands.
Reliability and strong work ethic in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $21.63/hr.
