Description:
Join Amrize as a Senior Expert Reporting and Analytics and help construct what's next. If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Expert - Reporting and Analytics to support SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere reporting solutions. This highly visible role will serve as a technical and analytical partner to Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) management reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) remediation efforts. The individual will combine strong technical expertise with a growing understanding of the company's financial processes, performance drivers, and reporting requirements to develop, support, explain, and train users on scalable reporting and analytics solutions. The role will interact with teams throughout North America. The role will be based in our Chicago office and may work in a hybrid arrangement.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Design, build, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and grid-style reports in SAP Analytics Cloud, including solutions supporting Corporate FP&A and CFO management reporting
Implement scripting, where necessary, to provide a clean and crisp user experience for the aforementioned deliverables in SAP Analytics Cloud
Partner with Corporate FP&A and Finance leadership to translate planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive reporting needs into scalable technical solutions
Develop strong business and financial acumen to interpret results, explain data and calculation logic, and identify the drivers of financial performance across North America
Serve as SME for the SAP Analytics Cloud platform
Communicate data modeling and data schema requirements to the Datasphere (formerly Data Warehouse Cloud) developers and other support team members
Stay up to date on changes and updates in the SAP Analytics Cloud software via: following the SAP Product Roadmap and attending trainings, seminars, and other offerings by SAP as necessary.
Understand and validate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial statements, variance analyses, and other company metrics; clearly explain calculations, data sources, and reporting results to stakeholders
Support SOX remediation and compliance reporting through controlled solution development, documentation, testing, issue resolution, and retention of appropriate validation and approval evidence
Validate and reconcile management reporting to governed financial sources; investigate discrepancies and ensure solutions are accurate, timely, performant, scalable, and reliable
Provide ongoing support, release validation, user guidance, and training so Finance stakeholders can confidently use and interpret reporting solutions
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
