Job Title: Floater Job Description
The Floater supports daily warehouse operations by performing a wide range of tasks across receiving, shipping, inventory management, material handling, and production support. This role ensures an efficient workflow by stepping in where needed, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating warehouse equipment safely, and assisting with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while consistently following safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Receive, store, and distribute materials and products in an accurate and timely manner.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
Assist with regular inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with company guidelines.
Support production and warehouse teams by performing general labor and general production tasks as workload demands.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled carefully and efficiently.
Assist with packaging and labeling products to meet quality and shipping requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety practices.
Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all assigned tasks.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support smooth warehouse and production operations.
Essential Skills
Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse or production environment.
Ability to support general production activities, including basic assembly, packaging, and material handling.
Experience loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
Ability to pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with attention to accuracy and detail.
Ability to receive, store, and distribute materials and products in an organized manner.
Capability to assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, following all safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
Flexibility to move between different tasks and support various teams as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Hebron, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
