Job Title: Warehouse/Janitor
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker performs general housekeeping duties throughout the warehouse, including cleaning work areas, machinery, offices, and break rooms, and disposing of waste materials. In addition, this position supports warehouse operations by accurately picking, scanning, and processing customer orders. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods while utilizing pick sheets and scanning devices to facilitate efficient and accurate shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, and work areas.
Remove, collect, and properly dispose of warehouse waste and materials.
Clean warehouse equipment and machinery.
Maintain cleanliness in offices, break rooms, and common areas.
Pick products accurately based on pick sheets and order requirements.
Use scanning equipment to track, verify, and document orders and inventory movements.
Prepare outgoing shipments by organizing, staging, and verifying products for dispatch.
Receive incoming shipments by unloading, checking, and scanning products into the system.
Maintain accuracy in order selection, labeling, and documentation to support efficient warehouse operations.
Follow established procedures for shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding order issues, discrepancies, or delays.
Work on your feet for the entire shift while safely and efficiently moving throughout the warehouse.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of warehouse experience.
Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
Experience with order selection and picking processes.
Ability to use or quickly learn RF scanners or similar handheld scanning devices.
Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift in a warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and scanning.
Ability to follow written pick sheets and standard operating procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience specifically as a shipping and receiving clerk or order selector.
Familiarity with RF scanner technology.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Reliability and punctuality for early morning shift start times.

Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where you will be on your feet for the entire shift. The schedule typically runs from 5:00 a.m. until work is completed, usually around 3:30 p.m., with the first day often starting at 6:00 a.m. The position follows a Monday-through-weekday schedule, and you will work in a fast-paced setting focused on shipping, receiving, order selection, and picking. You must wear closed-toe shoes and follow all safety and workplace guidelines while using RF scanners and other standard warehouse equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
