Floating Bank Teller:

This is a floating contractor position based out of Fort Riley that will also provide support to the Manhattan and Junction City branches as needed. The primary work location is on base at Fort Riley.

Position Overview

The Teller is responsible for providing members and prospective members with the full range of products and services offered by the credit union. This includes assisting with depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, trusts, and estate accounts, as well as lending products and credit/debit card services. The role involves performing moderately complex banking functions while delivering exceptional member service and supporting junior team members with guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and resolve member account and loan issues.

Assist members with consumer loan, mortgage, home equity, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.

Educate current and prospective members on available products and services.

Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through additional products and services.

Perform platform banking functions and transactions.

Ensure the proper handling of cash and negotiable instruments.

Support and mentor Level I team members.

Maintain compliance with federal regulations and company policies related to financial services.

Assist with branch and ATM vault procedures, including opening, closing, balancing, and custodial responsibilities as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
