Description

We are looking for a Trust Officer to oversee fiduciary relationships and deliver attentive service to clients and beneficiaries in Seattle, Washington. This position focuses on trust administration, financial oversight, and accurate reporting while ensuring each account is handled in accordance with applicable laws and internal standards. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, client-facing expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with legal and financial partners.

Responsibilities:

Oversee a varied group of trust accounts, managing day-to-day administration while maintaining adherence to fiduciary obligations and governing regulations.

Partner with attorneys, advisors, and other specialists to shape trust plans that support each client's financial goals and estate intentions.

Draft, organize, and examine trust-related paperwork, client statements, and beneficiary reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Evaluate trust holdings and account activity on a routine basis, identifying issues, monitoring performance, and suggesting appropriate updates when needed.

Keep thorough and organized account files that meet company policies as well as audit and regulatory expectations.

Monitor developments in trust, estate, and fiduciary practices to apply current standards and strengthen service quality.

Support relationship growth by contributing to outreach efforts, careful networking, and other client development activities.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 + discretionary bonus.

Requirements - Experience administering trust accounts and handling trust accounting responsibilities with a high level of accuracy.

Working knowledge of fiduciary, trust, and estate regulations, including compliance and documentation standards.

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a dependable point of contact.

Proficiency in preparing financial reports, account statements, and trust-related documentation.

Strong recordkeeping skills with careful attention to detail and organizational accuracy.

Familiarity with fiduciary tax, trust, and estate matters relevant to account administration.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and other stakeholders.
