Job Description**
This role involves performing precision electrical assembly work in a cleanroom environment, focusing on wiring, panel assembly, and medical device components. You will read and interpret blueprints and drawings, assemble and adjust electrical wiring and components, and ensure products are ready for testing, all while following strict cleanliness and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and ladder diagrams to understand assembly requirements and wiring layouts.
Assemble electrical wiring in panels and casings, ensuring accurate routing, secure connections, and proper organization.
Work with wires and harnesses, including cutting, stripping, routing, bundling, and terminating as required by specifications.
Use rivets, soldering, or micro-welding techniques to assemble and secure electrical components and hardware.
Adjust or repair faulty wires, connections, or broken components in panels and document issues clearly.
Report wiring defects, assembly problems, or quality concerns to leadership in a timely and accurate manner.
Move completed assemblies and finished products to the testing stage, following established procedures and handling guidelines.
Use hand tools and cleanroom-approved equipment safely and effectively during assembly operations.
Follow cleanroom protocols and medical device assembly standards to maintain product quality and cleanliness.
Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement of assembly processes and quality practices.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience in electrical assembly.
Hands-on experience working with wires and harnesses in an assembly environment.
Proficiency using rivets, soldering, or micro-welding for electrical and mechanical assembly tasks.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Experience with medical assembly or medical device assembly.
Familiarity with ladder logic and ladder diagrams.
Skill using hand tools for electrical and mechanical assembly work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience assembling electrical panels and casings.
Experience in supporting testing or inspection of assembled products.
Comfort working under defined procedures and documentation requirements typical of medical device environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct wiring or assembly issues.
Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding defects and process issues.

Work Environment
This position is based in a cleanroom setting in Cincinnati, OH, working primarily on medical device-related electrical assemblies. The role follows a 1st shift schedule under a 9/80 work structure: four nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and one eight-hour day on Friday in the first week, followed by four nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and a Friday off in the second week, totaling 80 hours across two weeks and providing a three-day weekend every other Friday. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. You will work with hand tools and cleanroom-compatible equipment, handling wires, harnesses, and panels in a controlled environment that requires adherence to cleanroom protocols and medical device standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
