JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: This part-time role offers 20-25 flexible hours per week and invites you to join a co-responsible team in the Operations Facilities department. We are looking for someone energetic and hands-on, ready to thrive in a fast-paced setting. As priorities shift, you will adapt on the fly, reassess situations, and tackle challenges head-on. Your mission: maintain our locations to ensure a safe, spotless work environment, following a set schedule for routine site visits. You will assess ticket priorities, seek support as needed, and keep help desk tickets up to date as you complete each task. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: New store construction: o Assist in ongoing construction of new locations. o Will be part of a team to ensure all ongoing construction is compliance with current ADA building standards. o Ensure that the opening of new locations goes seamlessly with the assistance of all FTS employees. Be available to the FTS Manager or Management team upon request. Keep detailed logs of all procedures used for fixing a problem to update the internal help desk ticket. This will help prevent unnecessary down time and repeating the same thing repeatedly. Respond to service requests regarding air-conditioning systems, general electrical, general plumbing, water heaters, carpentry, painting, information technology, security systems, and other required maintenance items. Understand the proper use of equipment, chemicals, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. Maintain and manage all equipment in store and warehouse Forklift certified. Must be available on call, upon request to respond and assist in any emergency\'s that arise. Work Manage confidential information. Regular and consistent attendance. Other duties as assigned. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements for Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Must have 2+ years demonstrated successful experience in all aspects of building maintenance. Must have a clean driving record and be able to travel as needed to complete various facility projects. Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Candidate will be resourceful and can get the job done on time. Prefer candidates who can readily use e-mail and (for Reno and Utah locations) possess an understanding of computer systems (hardware and software) including networks and system backup execution. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision. OSHA Certifications a plus. Abilities: Requires the ability to gather and analyze facts, to devise solutions to problems, to prepare clear and concise reports, follow instructions, attention to details and to perform with a high level of accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance. Ability to work in a team environment; work effectively with others, provide effective client service and public relations, display strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, organize, prioritize, research, and plan. Ability to correctly interpret, explain and apply policies and procedures, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; ability to interact with a variety of individuals from socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds in sensitive or difficult situations. Requires repetitive movement, sitting, writing letters and memos, face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams, use of electronic mail, telephone conversations, contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise). Requires repeating the same physical activities or mental activities over and over; requires being exact or highly accurate, requires meeting strict deadlines. Requires work with external providers, customers or the public, work with others in a group or team, coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities.
