The In-Market Field Recruiter, Candidate Attraction is a seasonal, field-based role focused on executing candidate attraction activities in a designated market. This position involves working under the guidance of a Market Response Specialist (MRS) and following a playbook to implement localized outreach tasks. The role is essential in ensuring the effective execution of candidate attraction strategies.
Responsibilities
Execute weekly in-market activities as outlined in the playbook, including collateral placement and material refreshes.
Conduct regular visits to community partner locations to maintain and replenish hiring materials such as flyers, posters, and QR codes.
Distribute referral program materials on-site and engage associates as directed by the MRS.
Attend and support local hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach activities as scheduled.
Perform grassroots canvassing including door-to-door business outreach and posting in high-traffic community locations.
Collect and report local market intelligence observations, such as competitor signage and community feedback, to the MRS.
Maintain accurate tracking logs of all activities completed, including locations visited and materials placed.
Provide weekly activity reports to the MRS documenting execution status and field observations.
Act as a Referral Ambassador for the assigned site, engaging associates about referrals during breaks and standups.
Coordinate with community partners for material drop-offs and relationship maintenance touchpoints as directed.
Essential Skills
High school or equivalent diploma.
Must live in or within a commutable distance of the assigned market location.
Reliable personal transportation for travel within the local market area.
Ability to work independently in the field following documented processes and a defined playbook.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for tracking and reporting activities.
Comfortable engaging with community members, local businesses, and associate populations.
Availability to work a flexible 32-hour weekly schedule, which may include weekend, early morning, or evening hours.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in field-based outreach, canvassing, community engagement, or grassroots marketing.
Familiarity with the local community, businesses, and organizations in the assigned market.
Experience with event support or coordination.
Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development environments.
Customer service experience of at least 6 months to 1 year preferred.
Skills in customer service, human resources, sales, onboarding, data entry, written and communication, clerical tasks, and marketing campaigns.
Work Environment
The role offers a flexible work schedule, with some days ranging from 4 to 8 hours. Hours can vary from as early as 5 AM to as late as 9 PM, primarily in early morning or daytime, with occasional weekend work. The candidate will work independently onsite and remotely, with the team based in Seattle and providing virtual communication. The role involves travel to job fairs or events within a 30-45 minute radius, with mileage reimbursement available. Schedules will be provided ahead of time.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
