This seasonal, field-based role focuses on executing candidate attraction activities in a designated market to support high-volume hiring for entry-level warehouse positions. You will bring the recruitment strategy to life in the community by placing collateral, supporting events, and building relationships with local partners, while following a clearly defined playbook provided by the Market Response Specialist. Responsibilities
Execute weekly in-market candidate attraction activities as outlined in the provided playbook, ensuring consistent and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
Place and regularly refresh hiring collateral, including flyers, posters, and QR codes, in strategic community and partner locations.
Conduct frequent visits to community partner sites to maintain, replenish, and enhance the visibility of hiring materials.
Distribute referral program materials on-site and actively engage associates to promote internal referral programs, acting as a Referral Ambassador at the assigned site.
Attend and support local hiring events, job fairs, community events, information sessions, and outreach activities as scheduled.
Assist with event logistics and coordination, including setup, breakdown, and on-site candidate engagement at job fairs and community events.
Perform grassroots canvassing such as door-to-door outreach to local businesses and posting materials in high-traffic community locations.
Engage confidently with community members, housing communities, local organizations, and businesses to build awareness of open roles and drive candidate interest.
Support internal and external recruiting efforts for tier 1, entry-level warehouse roles, using creative approaches to reach a limited candidate pool.
Conduct outreach to housing communities and other local organizations to promote opportunities and share hiring information.
Use a presentation deck to support information sessions and community meetings, clearly communicating role details and hiring processes.
Collect and report local market intelligence, including competitor signage, community feedback, and potential transportation or access barriers, and share these insights with the Market Response Specialist.
Maintain accurate tracking logs of all field activities, including locations visited, materials placed, and interactions conducted, ensuring thorough and timely documentation.
Prepare and submit weekly activity reports to the Market Response Specialist, summarizing execution status, field observations, and outcomes.
Follow documented processes and a defined playbook to ensure consistent execution, while escalating questions or issues to the Market Response Specialist as needed.
Coordinate with community partners to schedule and complete material drop-offs, maintain relationships, and plan recurring touchpoints.
Demonstrate adaptability by adjusting to schedule changes, event needs, and evolving market conditions.
Communicate regularly with the broader team through virtual meetings, weekly touchpoints, and digital tools to align on priorities and share updates.
Travel within the local market area, including occasional trips of approximately 30-45 minutes to job fairs and events, following provided schedules.
Uphold strong customer service standards and a professional presence in all interactions with candidates, associates, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Residence within a commutable distance of the assigned market location, typically within a 30-45 minute radius.
Reliable personal transportation for travel within the local market area, including to community partners, events, and canvassing locations.
Ability to work independently in the field, following documented processes and a defined playbook with guidance and support from the Market Response Specialist.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail for tracking activities, maintaining logs, and reporting results.
Comfort and confidence engaging with community members, local businesses, housing communities, and associate populations in a highly social, outward-facing role.
Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and strike up conversations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and professional correspondence.
Ability to work a flexible 32-hour weekly schedule, including some weekends, and occasionally early morning or evening hours based on market needs.
Proficiency with basic clerical tasks and data entry to support tracking, reporting, and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, locations, and priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Dependability and reliability in following schedules, meeting deadlines, and completing assigned field activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience in any environment.
Prior experience in field-based outreach, canvassing, community engagement, or grassroots marketing.
Experience supporting marketing campaigns, including social media or community-based initiatives.
Familiarity with the local community, including businesses, organizations, and housing communities in the assigned market.
Experience with event support or coordination, such as job fairs, community events, or information sessions.
Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, onboarding, or workforce development environments.
Experience with marketing communications and project coordination.
Strong customer service mindset, with a focus on providing a positive experience to candidates, associates, and partners.
Comfort presenting information using a presentation deck during info sessions or community meetings.
Demonstrated alignment with leadership principles such as adaptability, bias for action, delivering results, and learning and being curious.
Experience working with internal referral programs or similar employee engagement initiatives.
Basic understanding of social media use for outreach or awareness-building is beneficial.
Work Environment
This is a seasonal, flexible, field-based role that combines on-site work in the community with some remote tasks. The typical schedule is approximately 32 hours per week, with variability from day to day. Some days may be as short as 4 hours, while others may extend up to 8 hours, and in rare cases up to 10 hours, depending on event and market needs. Most work occurs in the early morning or daytime, with occasional early starts as early as 5:00 a.m. and rare evening activities extending up to around 9:00 p.m. to support specific community events. Weekend work is required as needed to support hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach. You will frequently travel within a 30-45 minute radius of the assigned location to attend job fairs, community events, and partner sites, with mileage reimbursement available for certain travel. The role involves substantial time on-site in the field, including visiting local businesses, housing communities, community organizations, and high-traffic public areas for canvassing and flyering. Some days will be spent working remotely to complete reporting, planning, and virtual meetings. You will often work independently on-site as the sole representative in the local market, while the broader team is based remotely and may occasionally travel to the site. Communication with the team occurs primarily through virtual channels, including weekly meetings and regular touchpoints. The environment emphasizes flexibility, autonomy, and accountability, with schedules provided in advance to help you plan your field activities. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
