Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting procurement and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: North Reading, MA

Pay Range: $35/hr W2

What's the Job?

Purchasing materials and equipment from suppliers including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items.

Managing supplier relationships and KPIs reported to senior Supply Chain leadership.

Providing inputs to monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during quarterly business reviews.

Planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, managing schedules in our ERP system, and effectively communicating these requirements to suppliers.

Identifying supply chain material risks and providing transparent monitoring of material flow.

What's Needed?

Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).

An understanding of data management and databases is a plus.

Ability to work in a demanding yet collegial environment where teamwork is essential.

Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields preferred.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
