Office Administrative Assistant needed in Hoffman Estates, Illinois

This role is 100% in-office.

Location: Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Start Date: August 1

Duration: 6 months (with potential to extend)

Pay Range: $24 - $26/hr (based on experience)

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to serve as a front desk receptionist/admin at our facility in Hoffman Estates. This part-time position (25-30 hours per week) will primarily involve greeting visitors and assisting with administrative tasks related to customer visits.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Facilitate and organize customer visits to the facility.

Maintain accurate visitor records and manage Conference Room scheduling.

Operate the laser marker machine to produce visitor badges.

Coordinate travel logistics, including airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and dinner reservations.

Schedule machine demonstrations and coordinate dining arrangements.

Support Sales and Marketing events, including trade shows and customer events.

Perform administrative tasks as defined by management.

Experience:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clerical skills.

Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Customer service or sales and marketing experience is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, or Associate's Degree in Office Administration with a minimum of two years' experience in an administrative environment acceptable.
