Job Title: Warehouse Picker / Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Picker accurately selects, scans, and prepares materials for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to all safety procedures. This role supports warehouse and production operations through order fulfillment, material movement, and inventory control, using RF scanners and material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
Pick and pull customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Scan and label products and materials to ensure correct identification and tracking.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform order picking, order pulling, packing, packaging, and warehouse packing for outbound shipments.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading inbound materials and preparing outbound shipments.
Assist with inventory control by counting, verifying, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Move materials throughout the warehouse, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, to support production and distribution operations.
Use RF scan guns and related technology to record inventory movements and updates in real time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing general labor and material handling tasks.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Essential Skills
Previous warehouse, distribution, or order picking experience preferred.
Experience using RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking.
Forklift and/or cherry picker experience preferred, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks.
Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading and loading materials.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform heavy lifting as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and labeling orders.
Basic computer skills to operate warehouse management systems and related technology.
Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and safe material handling.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with packing, packaging, labeling, and warehouse packing processes.
Experience in inventory control and general labor in a warehouse environment.
Comfort operating various material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
Willingness to complete a GED program, with support available.
Reliability and consistency in attendance and meeting productivity targets.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented distribution setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse facility operating on a 2nd shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with no weekend or holiday work. You work in a distribution and production support environment that involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and handling materials throughout the shift. The position requires frequent use of RF scanners, RF scan guns, and warehouse management systems, as well as operating equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks. The facility emphasizes warehouse safety and proper material handling. Dress attire consists of jeans and t-shirts made from 100% cotton, providing a comfortable and practical dress code suitable for an active warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.
