Industrial Maintenance Technician Needed 3rd Shift $28-32/hr!
Job Description
This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in a manufacturing or distribution environment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems. The maintenance technician reads and interprets electrical schematics, works with motors up to 480V, and performs both corrective and preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery and support systems.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair all production machines within the facility to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Troubleshoot electrical issues on production equipment, including identifying faults and determining root causes of breakdowns.
Perform electrical maintenance on all equipment, including motors, circuits, and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
Work with up to 480V motors, including inspecting, testing, and replacing components as needed.
Service and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including identifying leaks, pressure issues, and component failures.
Run wiring and rewire circuits, including installing and maintaining conduit and related electrical infrastructure.
Perform preventive maintenance on production and conveyor equipment, including inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and component replacement.
Change out worn or faulty parts, including batteries, mechanical components, and electrical devices, to restore equipment functionality.
Troubleshoot equipment issues on conveyors and other industrial machinery to minimize downtime.
Collaborate in a team-based environment to quickly resolve equipment problems and support continuous production operations.
Document maintenance activities as required by facility procedures and support continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
Essential Skills
Strong electrical skill set with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
Hands-on experience performing electrical maintenance on industrial equipment in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Proficiency working with up to 480V motors, including troubleshooting and component replacement.
Experience with hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience with pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment malfunctions effectively and safely.
Experience working with circuits, including running wiring, rewiring circuits, and working with conduit.
Experience in industrial maintenance, including preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on production machinery.
Experience with conveyor maintenance and related mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, adjustments, and part replacement.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting at a basic level to support equipment diagnostics.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechatronics certifications are a plus.
Electrical certifications are a plus.
Experience in automotive or similar high-volume manufacturing environments is beneficial.
Comfort working with schematic diagrams and identifying electrical symbols.
Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing equipment issues.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
