Heavy Equipment manufacturer in Leola, PA is looking for an Industrial Painter on 1st shift, working Monday - Thursday. Enjoy a four day work week in a laid back working environment! 1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday

Pay Range: $18-25/hr DOE

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. This position involves painting metal parts used in the production of large industrial machinery. Utilizing a pressure pot system with a fan spray gun, you will spray primer, top coat, and prep products for painting. The role also requires setting up and operating a sandblaster to remove scale, rust, and dirt from metal parts before painting.

Responsibilities

Perform industrial painting of metal parts in the production of large machinery.

Spray primer and top coat using a fan spray gun with adjustable settings.

Prep products for painting using wire brushes and grinders.

Set up and operate a sandblaster to clean metal parts.

Handle pressure pot systems for setting up, switching colors, and cleaning equipment.

Ensure quality finishing of metal parts.

Maintain dependable work ethic and seek long-term opportunities.

Essential Skills

Experience in industrial painting.

Proficiency in spraying metal parts using pressure pot systems.

Ability to operate sandblasting equipment.

Experience in industrial finishing techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior painting and industrial finishing experience is required.

No certifications are necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a dirty weld shop with a designated area for painting. The environment is not heated, so it can be cold. The position involves heavy production and heavy lifting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
