Purpose of the Position (The Why) IK Systems seeks an exceptional Regional Sales Executive to join our team, playing a pivotal role in advancing our mission of Solving Customer's Problems. Rooted in a culture of growth mindset, excellence, collaboration, and accountability, we uphold our commitment to customer service excellence. As a leading low voltage systems integrator, IK Systems partners with a global network to design, install, and support life safety, audio-visual, building automation, endpoint security, and low voltage solutions for enterprises. This role focuses on prospecting and cultivating new customer and account relationships, vital for our continued success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (The How) Sales Execution and Strategy: - Develops business opportunities from warm leads, bidding opportunities, and cold calling, targeting medium to large business, corporate, and government accounts. - Independently and collaboratively writes fully engineered, low voltage security systems proposals and devises personal business plans and sales strategies aligned with company goals. Market Expertise and Alignment: - Acts as a subject matter expert, particularly in casino gaming and medical marijuana markets, aligning solutions with customer needs based on market pressures and objectives. Financial Acumen: - Applies financial concepts to optimize profitability and pricing strategies, understanding discounts, markup, margin, and vendor discount programs. Sales Planning and Engagement: - Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation and sales plans to ensure a robust sales opportunity pipeline. - Engages customers creatively, presenting innovative solutions and services offered by IKS.

Leadership and Branch Oversight: - Assumes leadership and oversight responsibilities for small, local startup IKS branch offices, coordinating with the IKS leadership team.

Professional Development and Networking: - Develops action plans for effective sales prospect identification, strategies, and tactics, coaching new sales executives towards achieving goals. - Expands market awareness and business opportunities through networking, attending/hosting events, and participating in industry associations. Qualifications (How Your History Leads to Our Mutual Success)

Required Qualifications: - Minimum 5+ years' experience selling commercial security solutions for a security systems integrator. - Proven track record in prospecting, business development, proposing, and closing sales in enterprise accounts. - Technical aptitude to sell solutions-based systems tailored to customer needs. - Strong communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Additional certifications or training related to sales, security systems, or relevant industry. - Experience with specific software or tools commonly used in sales or security systems integration. - Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Work Environment and Physical Demands - Work is performed in a standard office environment and/or on customer sites. - Travel to customer sites and industry events nationwide is required.
