Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is hiring for a Clinical Assistant in Lake Success, NY. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Location: Lake Success, NY

Duration: 12 months

Pay rate: $26.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistants with daily patient care and treatment activities.

Prepare treatment areas and equipment before patients arrive

Clean, sanitize, and organize treatment areas and equipment after each patient

Set up and put away therapeutic equipment as instructed by the therapist

Assist patients with preparing for treatment when directed by the therapist

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment

Escort or assist patients to treatment areas as needed

Assist with transferring or positioning patients only as directed and within the aide's scope of responsibility

Retrieve and organize supplies needed for patient treatments

Restock treatment areas, linen, towels, and other supplies throughout the day

Maintain equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate supervisor

Assist therapists with maintaining an efficient patient flow and keeping treatment areas ready

Help monitor the waiting and treatment areas and notify clinical staff of patient needs

Follow all office, safety, infection-control, and HIPAA/privacy policies

Provide friendly, professional, and respectful customer service to patients

Communicate appropriately with patients and staff and immediately report concerns to the therapist or supervisor

Assist with maintaining patient exercise areas and keeping equipment properly stored.

Complete assigned daily tasks and checklists before the end of each shift

Help with general office or clinic duties when requested

Maintain punctuality, attendance, and professionalism

Follow instructions from the treating therapist and office leadership

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
