The Customer Service Specialist supports an assigned customer base by processing quotes and orders in the Epicor ERP system and providing accurate, timely administrative support. This role maintains a high level of efficiency and quality in daily work, collaborates with internal teams such as Production and Engineering, and communicates with customers as needed based on platform and workload. The position offers strong exposure to the aerospace industry, interaction with sales functions, and a clear pathway toward progression into an account management role over time.
Responsibilities
Enter and process customer quotes and orders accurately in the Epicor ERP system for the assigned customer base.
Maintain a high level of efficiency in daily workload, balancing both quality and quantity of output.
Monitor orders and customer requests and elevate issues to Account Management and Sales Management when appropriate.
Communicate with customers as necessary to clarify requirements, provide updates, and support ongoing orders, with frequency dependent on platform and workload.
Collaborate with internal departments, including Production and Engineering, to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Review, understand, and follow applicable work instructions to ensure compliance with internal processes and quality standards.
Participate in ongoing training activities to maintain and improve product knowledge, system proficiency, and customer service skills.
Prioritize tasks effectively and respond with appropriate urgency to critical customer and internal issues.
Perform additional customer service and administrative duties as assigned to support team and business needs.
Essential Skills
1 to 2 years of customer service experience in a professional environment.
Proficiency with data entry and administrative support tasks.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including accurate and efficient use of spreadsheets, documents, and email.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in quotes, orders, and customer information.
Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and internal teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively while handling multiple requests.
Demonstrated sense of urgency in addressing time-sensitive issues and customer needs.
Good organizational and planning skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Quick learner who adapts to new systems, processes, and product knowledge.
Open, approachable personality with strong communication and people skills.
Experience using ERP systems; familiarity with Epicor ERP is a plus.
Interest in sales processes and account management, with motivation to grow into an account manager role over approximately 1 to 2 years.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Comfort working in a structured environment with defined work instructions and procedures.
Work Environment
This role is 100% onsite in Tukwila, working a standard schedule of approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position operates in a professional office environment within an organization that supports the aerospace industry and provides significant exposure to aerospace products, processes, and customers. You will work extensively with the Epicor ERP system, MS Office tools, and standard office equipment while collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, and Sales teams. The environment emphasizes ongoing training, process adherence, and professional development, including exposure to sales functions and a clear path toward account management responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
