As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Retail in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. 21+ Years of Age

Active Armed Guard Card/License

Valid Driver's License

3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

Day Time

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail locations, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, vendor, and delivery activity; report unusual conditions and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.

Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and response actions in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
