As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Hookerton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government correctional location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and armed credentials. Mon05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

Tue05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a government corrections environment.

Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, staff, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.

Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Have at least six months of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
