Standard Job Description

Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

Familiarization with MS Office Suite of programs.

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or other equivalent technical discipline +5 years leading a technical team, or ~10 years experience leading a technical team.

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to collect and present information clearly and succinctly.

Familiarization with engineering project scheduling, tasking, execution operations, and tools used in support of previously identified activities.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
