As a Security Officer Unarmed - Site Monitor in Darlington, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Day Time

Wed08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Thur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sat04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.

Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
