This IT PM will support a finance-heavy retail transformation initiative, focused on POS-to-financial system integrations. The role requires strong understanding of retail transaction data flows, ERP environments (SAP preferred), and coordination between US and UK teams.

This is not an infrastructure role. This is a retail financial systems integration PM.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate finance-related IT initiatives

Manage POS data integrations into backend financial systems

Oversee mapping of transaction data into ERP (SAP preferred)

Partner with Finance, IT, Data, and UK stakeholders

Run project cadence meetings and status reporting

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and financial impact

Ensure data validation and reconciliation controls are built into testing

Support business case tracking and budget oversight

Coordinate vendors and internal teams

Required Skills:

Experience in fuel, food, retail or hospitality

Proven IT Project Management experience in retail environments

Strong exposure to retail finance systems

Experience managing data integration initiatives

Understanding of data mapping

Understanding of POS transaction flows into:

Sales audit

General ledger

Revenue recognition

Settlement systems

ERP platforms (SAP strongly preferred)

Experience working with Finance stakeholders

Comfortable managing cross-regional coordination

Desired/Preferred Skills:

PMP Cert

Scrum Master Cert

Agile Cert

Soft Skills Required:

Proactive and self-driven: Ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
