As a Security Guard Reception Access Support in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your professional presence will help support a secure environment while assisting employees and guests. Pay Rate: $19.56 / Hour

Day Time

Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, following visitor management protocols, issuing visitor badges as authorized, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.

Receive and route telephone calls, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.

Maintain awareness of front desk activity, report suspicious behavior or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Have customer service experience, preferred.

Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license, preferred.

Have access control and badge experience, preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
