Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
This role involves working in a busy warehouse environment where you will pick and verify orders, build pallets, and ensure shipments are accurate using various @types of material handling equipment. You will contribute to efficient warehouse operations by moving, storing, and preparing products for shipment while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders accurately using material handling equipment and RF scanners.
Build and wrap pallets to ensure products are secure and ready for shipment.
Load, unload, move, and store products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to support daily operations.
Verify product quantities and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Maintain inventory accuracy by completing required documentation and updating records as directed.
Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies while performing warehouse tasks.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe working environment.
Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.
Stand and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items as required.
Essential Skills
Experience working in a warehouse environment, with the ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks.
At least 6 months of forklift operating experience.
Ability to operate various @types of material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts.
Proficiency with RF scanners for order picking and inventory tasks.
Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per shift.
Ability to lift 20 or more pounds on a regular basis.
Attention to detail when picking orders, verifying quantities, and inspecting materials for accuracy and quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
Strong work ethic and reliability in a production and packaging environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in order picking, packaging, and general warehouse production work.
Comfort working with pallet building and shipment preparation.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Willingness to assist with special projects and additional warehouse duties as needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment equipped with large fans. Temperatures can become hot during the summer and cooler in the winter, so comfort with varying conditions is important. The work requires standing for the majority of the shift and performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and stacking products. Multiple shift options are available: 1st shift Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; 2nd shift Monday-Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; 3rd shift Monday-Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; and extended weekend shifts Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will use forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment as part of daily operations in a busy, production-oriented warehouse setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
