Construction Safety Manager | Ashburn, VA

Our client, a leading technology company in the data center construction industry , is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager 4, you will be part of the Data Center Construction team supporting large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate will have strong safety leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure a safe and compliant construction environment.

Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Location: Ashburn, VA

Pay Range: $78.66 - $84.72 per hour

What's the Job?

Oversee construction safety programs and ensure compliance with established safety standards and procedures.

Partner with General Contractors and project teams to maintain a safe work environment across active data center construction sites.

Conduct safety inspections, audits, and documentation using Nexus and other reporting tools.

Review site operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve safety and operational concerns.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on worker safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

6+ years of experience in construction safety, with significant experience on data center construction projects.

Previous experience working as a Safety Professional overseeing contractor and construction safety programs.

Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, hazard identification, incident prevention, and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.
