Position Summary
We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 5-7 years of professional experience to provide immediate project production support as newly awarded work begins. This individual will work under the guidance of licensed architects and senior project professionals, supporting projects through design development, construction documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction administration activities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing architectural models and drawing packages, coordinating with project teams, and supporting projects throughout various phases of design and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain architectural models and drawing sets utilizing Revit.
Support project planning, programming, design development, and construction documentation efforts.
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
Gather and organize design requirements, project information, budgets, and specifications.
Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and design reviews.
Assist with site investigations, field documentation, and existing conditions assessments.
Review shop drawings and support change order documentation.
Create renderings, presentation materials, and graphic exhibits as needed.
Support construction administration activities during project execution.
Ensure compliance with project standards, building codes, and client requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related accredited program.
5-7 years of architectural design and production experience.
Advanced proficiency in Revit with extensive construction document production experience.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Experience coordinating architectural work with multiple disciplines.
Strong understanding of design development and construction documentation processes.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work from either the Irvine or Sacramento office.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BIM 360 and Autodesk collaboration platforms.
Interior architecture or commercial interior design experience.
Proficiency in Photoshop and architectural rendering software.
Experience supporting construction administration activities.
Familiarity with federal, military, or Department of Defense projects.
Experience with institutional, educational, healthcare, laboratory, or industrial facilities.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.69/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
