Description
Seeking an Architectural Designer to add immediate project-production capacity as awarded work begins. This individual will work under the supervision of a licensed architect or senior project professional and support architectural projects through design development, construction documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, and applicable construction-administration activities.
The Architectural Designer will use Revit as a primary production tool to develop and update architectural models and drawing sets. Responsibilities are expected to include gathering and organizing design requirements, supporting project layouts, reviewing specifications and project information, preparing architectural drawings, and coordinating architectural work with other design disciplines. Depending on assignment needs, the designer may also assist with field investigations, existing-condition documentation, shop-drawing review, renderings, change-order documentation, and related project support.
The current target is a hands-on Architectural Designer with 5-7 years of experience and very strong Revit proficiency. The person may be based in either the Irvine or Sacramento office. Interior design experience is considered a plus. Candidates should demonstrate architectural consulting experience, strong construction-document production, AutoCAD capability, and experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and other disciplines.
Core Responsibilities
Produce and update architectural models and drawings in Revit.
Support architectural planning, layouts, design development, and construction documentation.
Gather and organize design requirements, specifications, project information, and budgets.
Coordinate architectural work with engineers and other design disciplines.
Work under the supervision of a licensed architect, senior architect, project manager, or engineer.
Support projects throughout relevant phases of the project lifecycle.
Assist with site investigations and field documentation when assigned.
Review shop drawings and support change-order documentation.
Prepare or contribute to renderings and presentation drawings where needed.
Support construction-administration activities applicable to the assigned project.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $57.69/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
