Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Industrial Material Handler- 2nd Shift. The core hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. The rate for this position is $21.94/hr + $1.20/hr shift differential per hour.

What you'll do:

Eaton's B-Line Division is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Material Handler you will be responsible for the safe operation of various @types of powered industrial trucks.

Job Functions:

You will be responsible for unloading and loading from Primaries and /or Industrial assembly and fabrication lines to keep flow of product smooth and efficient You will move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap. You will operate forklifts. You will store, space, and deliver materials or products. You will stack pallets and arrange materials. You may be required to palletize and secure material as needed. You will receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist). You will perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Valid state issued driver's license required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong Industrial product knowledge. Forklift experience both stand up and sit down. SAP knowledge

Position Criteria:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending. Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail. Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬. Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks. Requires PPE to include safety glasses, safety-toe shoes, ear protection, cut resistant sleeves, and any other PPE required by the position.
